Slide Clip for Exterior Curtainwalls
ClarkDietrich Building Systems announced the addition of the new Drift FastClip Slide Clip to its industry-leading lineup of clip and connection products. Available in both 14 and 12 gauge, Drift FastClip attaches exterior curtain-wall studs to the building structure, while allowing for both vertical and lateral movement.

FastClip Deflection Screws are included with each clip for attachment to the wall studs. These connectors allow for 2 inches (1-inch up and down) vertical deflection, while the 14-gauge bushing provide 2-inch lateral deflection (1-inch left and right). ClarkDietrich deflection clips include the company’s proprietary FastClip fastener that has been specifically designed to provide friction-free deflection. These fasteners eliminate drag, binding or resistance that can often occur with common fasteners.
Drift FastClip meets ASTM A653 and ASTM A1003 standards and is available nationwide via ClarkDietrich Clip Express.
