Joshua Zinder Architecture + Design (JZA+D) has announced the reorganization and expansion of the firm to handle new business and growth in a number of areas, including designs for higher education, commercial workplace and office spaces, hospitality, mixed-use and residential buildings. The firm, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has cultivated a loyal following and completed design projects from New Jersey to Nevada and from Macau to Singapore.

The founder and principal of the firm, Joshua Zinder, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, made these announcements today as part of the firm's capitalizing on its continued growth and recent "Architectural Firm of the Year" honors from the New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

New hires at JZA+D include Dani Robertson, project manager; architectural designer Taylor Kinsey, and Deanna D’Elia, designer. Robertson holds a B.S. degree in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and brings five years of industry experience. Kinsey is a recent B.Arch. degree recipient from Syracuse University School of Architecture, has been a finalist in design competitions, and boasts architectural software proficiency. D’Elia, with a B.F.A. in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design, has experience in corporate office, residential, and commercial interiors.

These recent additions to the JZA+D roster will provide support for the efforts of architect Benjamin Grace and interior designer Ashley Servis, themselves part of a recent round of hires from 2014. Grace recently qualified for architectural registration, and Servis has been promoted to Senior Designer. All are guided by senior associate Mark A. Sullivan, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP. Additionally, Callie Hancock joined JZA+D as marketing director in 2015.

These reassignments of the talented multidisciplinary team to handle new projects and responsibilities are intended to sustain development efforts while providing higher levels of service and design excellence to the firm’s growing national client base. In the past 18 months, JZA+D has added three universities to its roster of clients: Rowan University, Princeton University, and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Said founding principal Zinder, "We're proud of our continued growth in dynamic, competitive markets that we have managed to sustain through challenging times. Expanding with talented designers and support staff will help us maintain the level of excellence that our clients have come to expect, while giving us the flexibility to take on bigger challenges."
