Larry Staples, AIA, President of IN2IT Architecture, has been appointed to the National Board of the Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH). With the shift in healthcare and the city of Las Vegas becoming a more influential player in the industry, the appointment gives the state of Nevada a direct platform and voice in the evolving healthcare architecture industry.

In his role, Staples will oversee several committees on major regional, national and international initiatives focusing on healthcare planning, design and construction. In addition, he will lead regional knowledge community committees and partnership development with national institutions such as the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).

“I’m honored to represent Las Vegas and the state of Nevada in this capacity,” said Staples. “As we kick off 2016, I look forward to exciting healthcare growth opportunities both within the Las Vegas community and in communities throughout the nation. It’s inspiring to know that we can impact the potential of saving lives through architectural design.”

The appointment comes as the Academy of Architecture for Health prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2016. For more information, please visit www.in2itarchitecture.com.
