Tubelite Inc. named Tom Mifflin as its product manager supporting its storefront, curtainwall, entrances and daylight control systems. He works closely with the company’s marketing, sales and engineering teams, and with clients to help anticipate and develop new products and services for the industry’s constantly evolving commercial building needs.

Mifflin joins Tubelite from Wausau Window and Wall Systems where he worked for 20 years in engineering, research and product development, and most recently as the regional architectural service manager helping design professionals select products to achieve building performance goals. He specializes in high-performance designs including net-zero energy, condensation resistance, blast hazard and hurricane mitigation, and building integrated photovoltaics. Prior to Wausau, Mifflin was a design engineer working on classified projects for the military.

Throughout his career, Mifflin has participated in industry associations and events including the American Architectural Manufacturers Association, the National Fenestration Ratings Council, the Protective Glazing Council International and the U.S. Green Building Council. He also is a member of Society of American Military Engineers.
