Dawson Architects, one of Savannah’s leading independently owned architecture firms, has moved to a larger location in the heart of the Savannah Historic District to better suit the firm’s rapid expansion. The firm designed and renovated the more than 5,000 square foot office located at 321 West Congress, a space that had been left virtually undisturbed since being built c. 1850.

“Our move to a larger office in the heart of downtown Savannah will allow us to provide an inspiring work environment and is a very tangible way for our clients to experience who we are,” said Neil Dawson, founder and Principal of Dawson Architects. “Our new location is not only a testament to our work, but also to our love of Savannah and the historic fabric of our beautiful City.”

Dawson’s steadfast dedication to strong client relationships and their work has helped the firm attract top talent both locally and from around the nation. Averaging 70% annual growth, the firm has leaped from 1 to 17 employees since first opening its doors in 2008. The diversity and experience off the staff continues to raise the bar of excellence in architectural design.

“I feel so privileged to be able to work with the talented team of individuals that we have here at Dawson. We continually try to push the boundaries of what is possible through design and creative collaboration with our partners and clients. It is truly an exciting time to be in Savannah,” added Dawson.

Dawson Architects, is a full-service architectural firm whose primary business focus is on complex preservation and academic and commercial renovation projects making historic Savannah the perfect home.
