ABC Supply Co. Inc. Acquires Minneapolis Distributor
Building products distributor ABC Supply Co. Inc.has acquired the assets of Western Roofing Supply Company Inc., a roofing supply distributor in Minneapolis, Minn.
Founded in 1923, Western Roofing Supply has a single location, at 2727 26th Ave. South. It will become the newest ABC Supply branch and the company’s fifth in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The store supplies area contractors with a wide selection of roofing materials for residential, commercial and industrial applications. That offering will soon be expanded to include windows, siding and gutter, said Jim Welch, vice president of ABC Supply’s Midwest Region.
Located midway between the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, the new branch complements ABC Supply’s existing facility in St. Paul.
“It will allow us to provide more seamless service to contractors working in the central part of the metropolitan area, giving them convenient access to the products and support they need,” said Welch.
ABC Supply’s other Twin Cities-area branches are in Coon Rapids, Maple Plain, and Savage.
