Kingspan Announces Appearances at AIA and Greenbuild

February 18, 2015

One attribute of helping the development of brand building is the level of involvement within the industry for a company. For Kingspan Panels, 2015 will be no different as they will be attending two high-profile tradeshows. Greenbuild and AIA on the top of the list, to keep up with the industry’s innovative techniques, materials, and overall sustainable practices.

AIA Convention 2015

AIA is one of the largest events of the year, bringing together architects and other design professionals in the U.S. to share innovation, ideas, and information aiding in business progression.

Kingspan will be featuring its new BENCHMARK joint for insulation. The complete envelope brings together elements to meet needs for top performance, improving build time, lend color and texture options, as well as lower costs.

With over 800 exhibitors and nearly 300 intriguing educational opportunities taking place on the 170,000 square feet of space, AIA offers the opportunity to earn continuing education credits while listening to exceptional presentations concerning architecture and design.

It will be impossible to leave AIA without any personal gain. A few educational highlights that will be taking place at AIA are as follows:

•       Get hands-on at the Virginia Tech FutureHAUS—a full responsive-design living and kitchen prototype

•       See the YAF 10UP Competition winners build a sculpture for AIA Atlanta in real time on the Expo floor

•       Drop in on the live broadcast of discussions and debates from ARCHITECT Live

•       Meet up in the Emerging Professionals Lounge scaled for relaxation and equipped with career-building resources

•       LEED behind-the-scenes tours of sites that turn innovation into practice, or immerse yourself in intensive ADA training

Greenbuild International Conference 2015

Greenbuild 2015 is going to be a monumental green event. Washington, D.C., will be the home to this year’s convention on November 18-20 for the best in sustainable design and education.

At the largest expo dedicated to green building, there will be over 550 suppliers and top manufacturers, industry leading showcases, LEED workshops, and valuable networking opportunities to connect with other professionals.

Additionally, various learning workshops will allow time for questions regarding green building. While most companies today are addressing their environmental impact, far fewer have looked at how to balance it with their impact on people and their economic performance. Achieving sustainability is a major focal point for Kingspan Panels—aware of how fundamental sustainability is with building design. At Greenbuild, Kingspan will be informing attendees how useful Kingspan Panels products are for both a global impact on sustainability as well as providing superior design flexibility for our partners.

There will also be educational opportunities to expand your current knowledge on The LEED Dynamic Plaque by United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Scott Horst, as well as a deeper look into meditation, by Dr. Deepak Chopra.
