WAUKESHA, Wis. — Metal-Era Inc. has announced that Nick Mallinger, former vice president of sales and marketing, has moved into a new role and is now vice president of operations.

 In accordance with this change, Metal-Era’s production department has been restructured to accommodate a third shift as well as a weekend shift. Mallinger is instrumental in making these changes that will have Metal-Era operating Monday through Sunday. The additional shifts and hours are expected to take place in March 2014.

“I am looking forward to helping Metal-Era continue to move forward in 2014,” Mallinger said. “We have a great team, and with the additional shifts and labor, Metal-Era will be able to meet more customer demand and expand as a business.”

Mallinger has been with Metal-Era since 2004. He plans on continuing Metal-Era’s lean manufacturing initiatives and discovering additional ways to eliminate waste and increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
