July 3, 2012

Nick HoferSAN DIEGO — OneRoof Energy names Nick Hofer as vice president of marketing. Reporting to President and CEO David Field, Hofer will oversee all marketing functions as part of the executive team leading OneRoof Energy.

Hofer will be responsible for building the marketing team and positioning OneRoof Energy as the premier solar provider across all channels. His role will also include brand management for the company as well as developing key marketing channels. Hofer will create strategic partnerships to expand the company’s reach into new markets to support growth objectives. OneRoof Energy was backed by $50 million in initial financing in 2011, followed by an additional $5 million this year.

“As OneRoof Energy continues its rapid growth in the solar industry, our brand strategy will evolve to support this progression in each of our key marketing channels,” Hofer said. “I’m excited to lead our marketing team to sustain organizational growth and drive revenue and lead generation.”

Prior to joining OneRoof Energy, Hofer most recently spearheaded strategic market programming as western region general manager for Zeta Interactive, a full-service digital marketing agency, where he developed innovative interactive strategies for digital, website and social media platforms. His marketing experience also includes branding strategy, product management, campaign development and execution for a wide range of high-level brands including Kodak, Sony, Hewlett Packard, Botox, Juvederm, Intuit, Live Nation, 24 Hour Fitness, Wynn Hotels and Gateway Computers. Hofer holds degrees from the University of South Dakota and Stanford University.

“Nick’s diverse marketing experience provides a great platform to bring the company to the next level,” said David Field, president and CEO of OneRoof Energy. “His marketing expertise will help the company in our goals of expanding into new markets and building strategic partnerships.”
