TAMPA, Fla. – Architectural Testing, Inc. (ATI) announces the addition of TAS 112 testing to their ever-growing list of standards approved by Miami-Dade County at ATI’s Tampa, Fla. testing laboratory. TAS 112, Standard Requirements for Concrete Roof Tiles, which addresses both clay and concreted roof tile compliments the facility’s three other accredited TAS protocols: TAS 201, TAS 202, and TAS 203. TAS 112 provides verification of the performance criteria required for issuance of a Notice of Acceptance (NOA) by the State of Florida. “This added capability allows manufacturers of clay and concrete roof tile products to utilize ATI as an end to end solution for all of their testing and certification needs,” said Vinu Abraham, vice president – Southeast Region.

“ATI’s goal is to be the single-source solution for the roofing industry,” stated Chad Buhrman, industry manager – Roof Services. Architectural Testing offers a comprehensive list of services to the roofing industry, including fire, wind, thermal, acoustic and material properties testing. In addition, ATI’s Certification Services Group provides Evaluation and Product Listing Services to compliment product testing, including quality assurance audits, Certification Program audits, and follow-up inspections.
