EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Allied Building Products Corp. announced that it has completed its acquisition of Ivan Supply Co. LLC, a privately held roofing and siding distributor based in Philadelphia, Pa.; Pacific Source, a privately held building materials distributor based out of Snohomish, Wash., servicing Hawaii; and the Smyrna, Georgia branch of American Wholesale located just outside Atlanta.

Ivan Supply Co., a four branch distributor of roofing and siding, was founded in 1981 by Ivan Tancredi. Since opening, Ivan Supply has maintained a strong presence in the central Philadelphia market. With regard to the acquisition, Tancredi said, “Ivan Supply employees are some of the best in the industry which makes the acquisition by Allied such a natural fit. Two great companies with well-educated employees all focused on one goal — helping our customers succeed.”

Pacific Source was founded in 1992 by five owners, Kim Halverson, Rob Bruce, Carol Kinison, Mark Mason, and Doug Martin, whose combined goal was to become the best supplier of building materials to general contractors in Hawaii. “We are excited to be a part of the Allied Team and are confident that the Hawaii community will be better served as a result of the acquisition,” Mason stated.
With branch operations on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kauai and Maui, Pacific Source is dedicated to providing homeowners in Hawaii with all of the building materials needed to complete a project.

American Wholesale was founded in 1991 by Terry Ferrero and has had much success as a long-term residential siding staple in the Southeast. The Smyrna location will be managed by John Baumgartner, an Allied Building Products veteran, who joins the staff from New Jersey.
