2012 International Roofing Expo Assigns Show Floor

October 4, 2011

DALLAS – Signs of recovery in the roofing construction and maintenance industry were evident by the results of the recent Space Draw process for the 2012 International Roofing Expo, taking place Feb. 22-24, 2012 in the South Hall A at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The participating companies, combined with other companies that had made their choices in the Early Space Draw, contracted for 758 booths and 75,800 net square feet, roughly 85 percent of the show floor.

“Thanks to the returning exhibitors and first-timers, the 2012 Space Draw participants exceeded the 2011 number,” said Lindsay Roberts, Director of the Expo. “These impressive Space Draw results bring a positive energy to the show while setting the tone for an outstanding event.”

More than 290 exhibitors were assigned space, including 3M, GAF, ABC Supply, Johns Manville, OMG, Owens Corning, Air Vent, BASF, Metalforming, Englert, Polyglass, Dataforma, Malarkey Roofing Products, Carlisle, CertainTeed, USG and Eagleview Technologies, with inquiries and booth reservations continuing to pour in daily.

“We have been part of this show since the 1950’s,” said Jimmy Yundt, President and CEO of Roofmaster Products Company. “We consider it to be the best show with the target audience for our equipment and tools.”

Exhibitors returning to the show after an absence of a year or more include Acme Cone, ISP Minerals, Vanguard, 4C’s Spray Equipment, A.C.T Metal Deck Supply and American Weatherstar, among others.

Also participating in Space Draw were first-time exhibitors, including Airo Marketing, Extreme Weather Predictions, Elk River, DynoRaxx, Roofing Risk Advisors, NRCA Retirement Program, Global Wrap and QualCraft Industries.

“Exhibitors know the show is a proven source to grow their businesses, generate new leads, expand market share, close deals, and so much more,” said Bill Good, Executive Vice President of NRCA, the show’s official sponsor. “Companies need to secure their space today at this must-attend event.”

Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Show Management for more information. Companies beginning with the letters A-H should contact Bill Mitchell at 972-536-6360 or BMitchell@HanleyWood.com; and I-Z should contact Stephanie Garcia at 972-536-6381 or SGarcia@HanleyWood.com. General sales questions should be directed to Sandi McMullen, Sales Manager, at 972-536-6386 or SMcMullen@HanleyWood.com.
