Metal-Era Offers Continuing Education Courses
Metal-Era, Inc., a leader in commercial roof edge and roof ventilation solutions, announced their ongoing continuing education programs. Metal-Era’s partnerships with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI) allow design professionals to receive continuing education credit.
Metal-Era’s continuing education offerings consist of two programs: Understanding ANSI/SPRI ES-1 and Principles of Commercial Roof Ventilation.
Understanding ANSI/SPRI ES-1covers wind uplift issues related to the roof edge, whilePrinciples of Commercial Roof Ventilationfocuses on the unique demands of roof ventilation for commercial buildings.
“For over 10 years, we’ve had a great response to the Understanding ASNSI/SPRI ES-1seminar, and it’s grown even more since we expanded it to include webinars,” said Tony Mallinger, Chief Operations Officer. “As we enter our third year providing thePrinciples of Commercial Roof Ventilation program, interest has increased rapidly. Commercial ventilation is a topic that hasn’t been well addressed in the past, creating confusion in the industry. We’re pleased to provide clear and sound guidelines for design professionals.”
Metal-Era’s continuing education programs are available in the form of monthly webinars (online seminars).Understanding ANSI/SPRI ES-1is offered on the second Thursday of every month at 10:30 am central time.Principles of Commercial Ventilationis offered on the fourth Thursday of every month at 10:30 am central time. Additional presentations (either face-to-face or webinar) are available upon request. There is no charge for the program.
Both programs offer one AIA continuing education unit, one AIA health, safety and welfare credit and one RCI continuing education hour. For more information, call 800-558-2162 or visit www.metalera.com/ContinuingEducation.
