With 2010 well under way, we've taken some of the best features of ARW and made them better! Not only are they better, they are more plentiful as well. Here are a few things that are hitting our “to do (more of)” list: Architect Spotlights, Case Study Features, Code Updates and, last but not least, Webinars.
Tomorrow my youngest daughter kicks off her soccer season with her first game. I am the head coach of the team, and we've had a handful of practices leading up to this game. Now, keep in mind, this is a team of 5- and 6-year-old girls, so there's not a heck of a lot of professionals involved here. These girls are learning the basics: the rules of the game, which direction to go, and how to execute a kick for passing and goals.
There are many things about this year that I won’t look back on fondly. But, this year has surely taught us a few lessons about being smart with finances and always having a “prudent reserve” on hand.
OK, times are rough and tough. We're all feeling it. But, I truly believe that at least part of it is a function of the weather. I'm excited for the spring thaw.
We've just wrapped up the final webinar of 2008,
“Roofing Design/Material Selection,” which totaled 526 attendees. Even more
recently, the ARW staff and I sat down to figure out the topics that will be
covered in 2009.
You know, when the 2008 Olympics first began, I have to admit I wasn't very interested. As they progressed, I started to notice a change in the day-to-day conversations and news headlines as a whole.
