Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) members gathered for 2024 PCI Committee Days in Nashville, Tenn., September 23-27, to recognize the accomplishments of many deserving members. 

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Central Region has named Matt Ballain as its new executive director. Ballain has served many roles with PCI and is the current Past Chair.

Ellis, the nominee this year from the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC), was inducted during the annual SEAOC Convention in Portland, Oregon.

All members, regardless of membership classification, are welcome to nominate their peers or an IIBEC staff member for an IIBEC honor through the official portal.

Building Enclosure magazine is proud to announce Amy Baker as the recipient of our 2024 Leadership Award. Founder of Amy Baker Architect, she has made significant contributions to the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, advancing the practice of building enclosure design.

FGIA members assembled and donated 200 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in the Minneapolis area as part of World Vision’s School Tools Backpack Build.

All three inductees will be recognized for this distinction during the 2024 FGIA Fall Conference, September 16-19.

Ferenc is the product representative for Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He has been with ATAS for four years and has been in the architectural building materials industry for 17 years.

Under her new title, she will continue to oversee all PCI programs under the Marketing Council and Education Activities Council, serve as liaison to local PCI chapters and partner affiliates, and work with the PCI Foundation on its education efforts. 

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute welcomes Bartlomiej Krol, P.E., as its new Managing Director, Quality Programs. He will be responsible for PCI’s quality programs, including certification activities for precast concrete plants, erectors, and personnel.
