The Minneapolis architectural firm Alliiance has announced that Mamie Harvey has been named president, signifying a new chapter in the firm’s distinguished history. Harvey, a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience at Alliiance, will assume the role as Eric Peterson, the current president, transitions to a leadership position focused on the firm’s robust national and international aviation practice, while also continuing his role on the board of directors. 

Eric Peterson, who has guided Alliiance through some of its most transformative years, will continue to play a key leadership role within the firm and on the board. He will focus on directing the aviation practice, which he has led for over 35 years, with the goal of enhancing the studio’s success both nationally and internationally. Under his leadership, Alliiance has experienced significant growth in staff and market diversity, expanded into new sectors, and strengthened its commitment to sustainability, equity, and intercultural competence in design.
