TPG Architecture LLP, an award-winning New York City-based architecture and design firm, announced the promotion of Christina Faley, WELL AP, IIDA, to Retail Studio Director. An inspired designer with a multifaceted background, Faley's elevation underscores the firm's continued commitment to empowering emerging talent, as well as recognizes her impact as a respected leader and client steward. In her new role, Faley will lead one of the firm's two retail studios within its larger team-of-teams structure, overseeing projects from concept to delivery.

“Christina's promotion to Studio Director is a testament to her exceptional professionalism, talent and expertise. She possesses a unique blend of conceptual creativity and a deep, thorough understanding of the technical intricacies of the architectural process. Her ability to navigate both design and technical challenges with equal skill sets her apart as a truly complete professional," says Alec Zaballero, Managing Executive at TPG Architecture. "Beyond her remarkable design capabilities, Christina is a genuine and empathetic team player whose insights and judgment have earned her the trust and respect of both her colleagues and clients. Her leadership will undoubtedly drive our studio to new levels of success, and I am honored to stand alongside her as we lead TPG forward.”

An Irish native, Faley joined TPG Architecture in 2016, following ten years in the hospitality industry. Intent on pursuing a new career in design, she went back to school in 2014 to study interiors at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she ultimately discovered her passion for curating retail environments. Faley immediately became an invaluable asset to the firm, bringing enthusiasm and determination to every aspect of her work. She has since built an extensive portfolio of international projects –– including retail, hospitality, workplace, and specialized retail fixture design –– for clients such as El Palacio de Hierro, Mutual of America, UPPABaby, and Tishman Speyer. Her practical wisdom and grounded nature allow her to navigate complex challenges with grace, confidence, and precision.

Faley approaches each brief with a creative excellence that harnesses and elevates the diverse perspectives of her team –– a defining aspect of her leadership style that has earned the respect and admiration of both her clients and her team members.

“Our success is a direct reflection of each person’s dedication and unique talents," says Faley. "By leading with empathy and recognizing every individual’s contribution, we ensure that our collective efforts translate into exceptional client service.”

Faley's collaborative spirit and impactful design solutions have strengthened the firm's many long-standing client relationships, and will further drive her team forward as she steps into her new role. As Retail Studio Director, Faley will continue exploring the influence and integration of hospitality on developing holistic brand environments. Recognizing retail spaces as central to bringing people together, her philosophy aims to create experiences that go beyond the transactional. Her expertise in executing this vision elevates the standards of excellence within TPG and the retail industry as a whole.
