EYP’s Houston Office Announces 2019 Promotions

Breaking News 4
November 20, 2019

In recognition of the skills, contributions, and leadership of its staff, and a demonstration of commitment to the firm’s values, EYP Architecture & Engineering is proud to announce the following promotions in its Houston office:

Promotion to Senior Principal:

Tushar Gupta, FAIA, is an award-winning designer specializing in healthcare, a fellow in the AIA College of Fellows and serves as the managing principal of EYP Houston. He joined the firm in 2000 and is a former Tradewell Fellow. He was honored with the 40 Under 40 leadership award by Building Design + Construction Magazine as well as the Houston Business Journal. Tushar’s ability for creating design concepts that are rooted in people, place and project distinguishes him from other architectural designers. His knowledge of medical planning leads to the better integration of form and function. Tushar serves as the 2019 president of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health.

Promotions to Principal:

With more than twenty years of experience, Annabella Koloskov, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, practices an open-minded approach – listening, engaging, collaborating and leading clients into the future of healthcare delivery. She facilitates discussions to advance their strategic plan, establish guiding principles, and build consensus among all stakeholders. She helps clients consider all options to maximize their space in ways they might not have, based on LEAN methodologies and what evidence suggests. Working with doctors, clinicians, staff, patient and family advisory groups from pre-design through design development, she aligns spaces to represent what is important to everyone while accommodating the rapidly changing requirements of the industry.

Haeoak Park, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, is a talented medical planner with 20 years of design experience in healthcare, research building types, as well as cultural and civic buildings. She specializes in functional space programming and planning from macroscale master planning to microscale room layout. She integrates architectural and interior design based on her deep understanding of the coordination between disciplines. Haeoak is skilled in leading discussions and presentations, and enjoys collaborating with clients to help them develop best-fit solutions.

Tom Woods, AIA, LEED AP, brings 20+ years of project management knowledge through his work experience of architectural and construction consulting. He has led teams on a wide variety of global and domestic projects. Leading large-scale facilities from healthcare to DoD, universities, private research organizations, oil and gas companies and real estate developments, Tom strives to deliver projects that achieve the client’s goals.
