Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects (NMDA), the creative architectural firm behind some of the world’s most extraordinary resorts, has announced three important new additions to its intentionally boutique design team. Michael Lungren, Peter Hartman and Warren Pullen have each been appointed to the role of Vice President and these appointments celebrate the firm’s second-year anniversary in the heart of the Dallas Design District.

“We are thrilled to welcome the concentrated level of expertise of Michael, Peter and Warren as part of our NMDA family, which has grown from just two to 25 employees in two years,” says Co-founder Nunzio DeSantis. “They are passionately devoted to the creation of memorable locations, places and experiences that exemplify the style in which we do business.”

Lungren, an industry veteran with over 35-years of experience is at the forefront of the architectural artist world. Against the grain of computer-generated graphics, Lungren seamlessly visualizes his client’s architectural intent and transforms it in to a mood-provoking artistic representation through mixed-medium design style using pen, ink, watercolor, charcoal, and pencils. Formerly, Lungren served as Associate Principal and Senior Vice President at interdisciplinary global design firm HKS.

Hartman’s 23-year career is rooted in his strong conceptual design skills, architectural illustration and renderings, and design-detailing and production. Previously, Hartman served as Design Director at the world-renowned Wilson Associates working on various global hospitality, gaming/casino, restaurant, multi-family, and construction projects with top-tier clients including Four Seasons, One & Only Resorts, Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, MGM Grand, Caesars, Gaylord, Hilton, and JW Marriott.

Pullen’s work spanning three-decades has garnered global recognition counting Auberge Resorts, Four Seasons, St Regis Group, Viceroy, Wynn Resorts, IHG Intercontinental, and Hilton International among his many clients. Known for his acute attention to scale and proportion, Pullen conceptualizes the design intent for the entire project, creating holistic design concepts that adhere to the client’s criteria, considering the project’s location, history and cultural context. Prior to his appointment at Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architect’s, Pullen was a Design Director at Wilson Associates.

A start-up that’s far from a start-up, NMDA opened its doors in 2017 with more than 30 hospitality projects in various stages of development. The firm focuses on delivering exceptional design on the singular focus of hospitality related projects of the highest quality.
