A facility for the showcase of Boral Roofing’s durable, earth-friendly roof tile product line, the Design Center will also facilitate American Institute of Architects (AIA) CEU courses and product training learning sessions for professionals in the building industry. Boral Roofing will host the official grand opening of the Design Center on Thursday, March 26.

Boral Roofing’s brand new Design Center will offer visitors the opportunity to explore and learn about the company’s sustainable roof tile products. The facility will showcase a range of options including both concrete and clay solutions across a range of profiles and colors, offering a range of options to complement any architectural style along with superb curb appeal. Boral Roofing’s tile systems are recognized for their durability, low maintenance, and long life benefits, as well as their earth-friendly qualities including natural geologic materials content, green manufacturing processes, recyclability, and energy efficiency.

The Design Center will also offer AIA CEU courses for the continuing education of industry professionals such as builders, architects and contractors. One course—“Sustainable Green Building with Clay and Concrete Roof Tile”—will be offered regularly at the Design Center. Participants will earn credit in both the “Sustainable Design” and the “Health, Safety, and Human Welfare” categories, while learning about clay and concrete roof tile solutions.

The Design Center official grand opening event will feature food and giveaways for attendees. Culinary contributions will be provided by The Grilled Cheese Truck, the infamous truck dedicated to creating both classic and unique variations of one of America’s favorite childhood (and adult) comfort foods. The grand opening event is open to professionals within the building industry including architects, builders, contractors, and others. To be hosted onsite at the Design Center at 1832 S. 51^st Street, Phoenix, Ariz. 85043, the event will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
