- 1:00 - 2:15 pm, " Research: Roof Insulation Facers & Water Based Adhesives”Matt Dupuis & Rene DuPuis, SRI, have researched the effects of moisture on insulation board facer strength. Funded by the Chicagoland Roofing Council, the goal of the research is to find out how much moisture causes issues and how fast. Also, research by NRCA & MRCA on water based adhesives is covered in this duo presented program.

The program will reinforce today’s safety mandates and highlight what’s to come in the future. Presented by the CRCA / OSHA Safety Alliance. Geared for Field Personnel, Foreman, Superintendents and Owners as well.
- 7:45-8:45 am – “Ventilation, Low & Steep Sloped Roofs and the DOE’s Current Programs" Ventilation and engineering the space above the ceiling or in the attic always results in debate. Andre Desjarlais, Oak Ridge National Laboratories brings the audience new info on this important topic that can solve a ton of issues while updating CRCA on the ORNL’s Research Activities for the many facets of the building envelope.
