Building Safety Month 2021 celebrates the industry’s resilience throughout the pandemic and looks to continue creating safe and sustainable buildings and communities.
Learning from our current landscape and the stress the pandemic has forced on our infrastructure, it has become abundantly clear that society must put a greater emphasis on the task of strengthening our buildings, both residential and commercial, to create safe and structurally strong communities
This new task force – made up of building safety, health and other experts – will develop resources to prepare buildings and communities worldwide for disease-related threats.
The final rule updates a codified regulation that provides technical standards for the design of covered multifamily dwellings to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities.
