DIG Architecture Names Jaime Masler Beach, AIA, NCARB, as Principal Amid 20th Anniversary Milestones
Project management specialist champions people-centric design & workplace balance

DIG Architecture (DIG), based in New Brunswick, NJ with offices in Philadelphia and New York City, has named Jaime Masler Beach, AIA, NCARB, to the position of principal. This strategic promotion coincides with the firm’s 20th anniversary, marking significant regional growth and DIG’s leadership across the educational, civic and mixed-use sectors.
With over 25 years of experience, including 14 years with DIG, Masler Beach’s expertise extends far beyond the conventional role of project manager. She is a trusted advisor, strategic business development leader and collaborative partner for clients, team members, stakeholders and communities. As principal, she will continue to oversee project delivery standards and champion DIG’s mission across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York State.
Master of Complexity and “People-First" Project Management
Known for her hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership style, Masler Beach oversees projects from early planning through final delivery, ensuring complex visions align with budget realities. Her public-sector practice focuses on the belief that public spaces – from libraries and universities to senior living, community health centers and government facilities – serve as essential social infrastructure and deserve the same caliber of innovation as high-end private developments.
“Jaime is a driving force behind some of our most complex and impactful projects,” said Jeff Venezia, DIG’s chief operating officer and a co-founding principal. “Her promotion reflects an unwavering commitment to design excellence and an innate ability to foster deep, collaborative relationships. She expertly navigates challenging conversations with professionalism, empathy and wit, keeping diverse stakeholder groups aligned while maintaining project momentum.”
This collaborative philosophy is backed by Masler Beach’s track record of more than $200M in active civic and institutional assignments, with specialized expertise in transforming historic and constrained sites into flexible, modern environments. Her extensive portfolio includes leading the $140M Union County [NJ] Government Complex civic campus, $70M academic-facility renovation at Kean University’s main campus, $18M Bjork Library transformation at Stockton University and $6.2M restoration of the Carnegie-era Long Branch Free Public Library.
Redefining the Term “Success”
Recently recognized nationally among the 2026 Women of Influence in Architecture, Masler Beach views her career not as a fixed destination, but as a continuous evolution rooted in service.
“DIG has always felt like home because of my personal shared belief that everyone deserves great architecture,” said Masler Beach. “Spaces shouldn’t just house functions, they actively shape human emotion and social equity. Managing a project successfully goes far beyond tracking metrics and staying on budget. It’s about building consensus among diverse groups to deliver meaningful infrastructure. While the process demands tremendous focus and resilience, keeping a sense of levity helps to navigate complex challenges and ultimately design public environments that truly elevate the community.”
As a member of DIG’s leadership team, Masler Beach is deeply passionate about shifting industry culture toward a more inclusive, resilient blueprint. A prominent voice for women in leadership, she advocates for healthier workplace cultures and clear boundaries, demonstrating that top-tier executive success and a fulfilling family life can successfully coexist.
A registered architect in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with NCARB certification, Masler Beach holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the former Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University-East Falls). Her commitment to the industry is reflected in her engagement with AIA New Jersey, AIA Central New Jersey and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
Masler Beach also concentrates her efforts where she can deliver the most meaningful value. She is regularly a guest speaker at local elementary schools bringing introductory architectural problem-solving challenges to students, has led community stewardship activities for area Girl Scout troops and orchestrates DIG’s annual “Bring Your Child to Work Day” to inspire the next generation of designers.
