Have you nominated your projects for IIBEC’s new Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award (EBEC)? The goal of this new IIBEC awards program is to elevate and highlight the value that building enclosure consultants bring to a project.

The EBEC Award recognizes outstanding contributions by building enclosure professionals, their collaborators, and their clients in support of the design, delivery, and advancement of building enclosure performance in one or more of the categories of roofing, exterior wall, waterproofing, building enclosure, and commissioning. The streamlined application process for the EBEC Award replaces the retired Document Competition and better emphasizes consultants’ value in various roles.

Jeremy Bridwell, RRC, REWC, PE, and EBEC Award Committee Chair, encourages members to participate, “Submit your nominations to the reimagined Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award competition to showcase your excellent projects and project teams to the building enclosure community. It’s easier than ever using our newly revamped online application process!”

Submit your project today for consideration in one of the following five categories:

• Roofing 
• Waterproofing
• Building Enclosure
• Commissioning

Winners will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the 2024 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, March 8–11, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.
