Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation Rolls Out New Ultra-Low Global Warming Potential SPF Product

October 5, 2022

Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation (CSFI), a leading manufacturer of spray polyurethane foam systems, introduces its second-generation product based on hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) technology, SealTite™ PRO HFO. An environmentally responsible spray polyurethane foam insulation, CSFI developed SealTite PRO HFO to ensure consistent performance and “sprayability” in all types of conditions. By bringing its newest HFO-based SPF product to market, CSFI can offer contractors, applicators and building owners a sustainable solution that outperforms other insulating products. Turning to ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) alternatives is more important and apparent than ever before, as more states continue to prohibit the use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) blowing agents in spray polyurethane foam.

Designed to spray like the HFC-based products many applicators are used to, SealTite PRO HFO is easy to use and offers a smoother, more consistent spraying experience with less fallout and consequently, less waste. Because of its quick application and predictable performance, CSFI’s second-generation product offers contractors, applicators and building owners total jobsite efficiency. A sustainable insulation solution, SealTite PRO HFO is an ultra-low GWP product that complies with all state and federal environmental regulations.

“Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation has dedicated itself to improving its non-HFC technology to extend a truly best-in-class HFO product to building professionals,” says Bill Brengel, General Manager, CSFI. “SealTite PRO HFO checks off all the boxes for the contractor, applicator and building owner; it’s an environmentally responsible option, quick and easy to apply, and sprays just a like a HFC. When it comes to buying a HFC-free product—which eventually, every state will require—SealTite PRO HFO delivers the best value when you look at cost and performance.”

The company’s newest product based on HFO technology is backed by the experience and support of Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT), a leading supplier of high-performance building envelope solutions. This also means SealTite PRO HFO has undergone extensive quality checks to ensure little to no in-field issues.

SealTite PRO HFO is available for purchase, either directly or through CSFI’s extensive network of distribution partners. For more information on SealTite PRO HFO or Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation, visit https://www.carlislesfi.com/.
