On December 31, 2012 Morris Architects became a Huitt-Zollars company. On March 1, 2017 Huitt-Zollars announced that Morris Architects is changing its name to Huitt-Zollars.

The change reflects Huitt-Zollars' vision to build a sophisticated professional service practice in which all of the elements of design are integrated into a balanced offering. After more than four years of combined operations, the single banner Huitt-Zollars will further unify the design practice.

Huitt-Zollars will continue to offer an integrated delivery model to clients involving the expertise of the entire firm. This interdisciplinary collaboration allows for better solutions and ultimately great design, and supports the firm's philosophy of ADVANCEDESIGN. As a result, Huitt-Zollars has built a truly unique practice in the design industry with the historic, balanced convergence of an established full-service architecture practice and an established full-service infrastructure practice.
