Roofinox to Host Best Practice Seminars

January 19, 2017

Roofinox, the leading manufacturer of architectural stainless steel, has launched a new series of best practice seminars dedicated to the safe and correct use of stainless steel roofing & cladding. Each 90-minute session is designed as a hands-on introduction to application benefits, tips and practices.

“Stainless steel is an ideal alternative to copper roofing due to its long-term sustainability and corrosion-resistance,” says Dave Rowe, vice president at Roofinox America. “Many architects have come to value the grey patina these products achieve over time, while contractors have found Roofinox stainless steel to be more ductile and offer less spring back than other stainless products.

“As the only domestic manufacturer of Tin-plated (Terne) in the marketplace, we’ve developed these educational sessions so industry professionals can learn firsthand about the advantages of using stainless steel in both residential and commercial applications as well as the proper installation and roll forming techniques.”

Free-of-charge, each Roofinox Best Practice Seminar will include product and application demonstrations, hands-on sample opportunities, completion certificate, and a discount good on purchases for 30 days after the event.

N.B. Handy Company, one of the nation’s leading wholesale distributors of commercial roofing products, HVAC equipment and supplies, will launch the series with seminars scheduled for January 17 in Columbia, S.C.; January 18 in Greenville, S.C.; January 19 in Raleigh, N.C.; January 24 in Charlotte, N.C. This will be followed by events held by Sheet Metal Supply on February 1 in Mundelein, Ill. and ATAS International, Inc. on February 9 and 10 in Tucson, Ariz. Additional sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.

Originally developed to withstand the harsh climatic conditions found in Central Europe, Roofinox is ideal for applications ranging from rural, urban and light industrial areas to historic and commercial sites and extreme coastal environments. Available in coil or sheet, materials can be ordered by themselves so customers can do their own forming or prefabricated by distributors.

The product line consists of Roofinox Classic brush-rolled stainless steel, Roofinox Pearl bead-blasted stainless steel, Roofinox Plus ribbed stainless steel, Roofinox Chroma mirror-rolled stainless steel and Roofinox Tin-plated (Terne), the only tin-plated stainless steel product specifically developed and manufactured for roll forming and fabricating.

For more information on the Roofinox Series of Best Practice Seminars please call 732-440-8069, email sales@roofinox.com or visit www.roofinox.com.
