Kingspan Insulated Panels North America has released an environmental product declaration (EPD) for its K-Roc™ HF Series insulated metal panels (IMPs). EPDs have become the industry standard for identifying the best building materials to lower embodied carbon in the built environment.
Participants at the 2024 Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance Annual Conference were given the opportunity to take part in an interactive session entitled, "The EC3 Tool for Glazing and Fenestration Products | Facilitating Improvements in the EPD System."
Among industry leaders, Vitro was the first U.S. glass manufacturer to have its entire collection of architectural glass products recognized by the Cradle-to-Cradle CertifiedProducts Program and the first North American manufacturer to publish third-party verified EPDs.
During the conference, participants learned about sustainability market drivers, EPDs and more during a presentation by industry specialist, Anna Nicholson.
