I love the fall. The weather is beautiful. Football season begins, and the baseball playoff races are in full swing. It’s also time for Roofing Contractor’s Best of Success Conference, which is my favorite event of the year. This year’s event will be held Sept. 24-25 in Denver.

It features two days of educational sessions specifically geared to help residential and commercial roofing contractors improve their businesses. This year’s topics include crisis management, recycling, mobile tag marketing, succession planning, and how to sell preventative maintenance. Craig Brightup of the Brightup group will also give us an insider’s look at Washington before the big election. Here’s the full agenda.

The seminars are fascinating, but there is a learning opportunity every time you turn around at Best of Success. I always say you can learn as much at the breaks, meals and cocktail reception as you can in the sessions — and have fun at the same time.

Hopefully I’ll see you in Denver. If you can’t make it, we’ll have full coverage of this year’s event in a future issue of Roofing Contractor.
