Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) has published its new glass catalog, which includes product details, performance data and inspiring project photography.

New Vitro products added to this catalog include VacuMax Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) and Solarvolt Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) Glass System, winners of numerous awards for innovative technology and energy and environmental benefits.

VacuMax VIG provides thermal insulation performance two to four times better than conventional insulating glass units and up to 14 times better than monolithic glass. Delivering center of glass (COG) R-values of R14+, VacuMax VIG units rival the thermal performance of traditional walls, providing energy savings and reducing carbon emissions through lower Btu usage.

Solarvolt BIPV glass systems double as a building component to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency in commercial buildings, delivering high performance, aesthetics and CO2-free power generation while replacing conventional building materials. Available for classic glass façades, vision glazing and opacified spandrel glass, the Solarvolt BIPV glass system also can be seamlessly integrated with balustrades, balconies, overhead glazing and skylights.

Also being featured for the first time in Vitro’s new glass catalog are new names for several popular low-e glass products, including Solarban® R67 glass (formerly Solarban® 67 glass), Solarban® 60 on Optiblue® glass (formerly Solarban® z50 glass) and Solarban® 70 on Optiblue® glass (formerly Solarban® z75 glass).

As North America’s largest and most trusted glass manufacturer, Vitro is responsible for many of the commercial glass industry’s most specified products, including high-performance Solarban® low-emissivity (low-e) glasses, Starphire Ultra-Clear® glass and a range of performance-tinted glasses that are featured in projects across the world.
