Today we’re excited to be joined by Maria Redmond, the Director for the Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy for the Department of Administration in Wisconsin.

Currently, the intensifying consequences of climate change pose an enormous threat to Wisconsin’s agricultural industry—one of the largest in the United States. So Governor Tony Evers launched an initiative using the AIA Framework for Design Excellence to improve the state’s infrastructure and reduce its carbon footprint.

Maria’s here to tell us more about this initiative and how Wisconsin is leading the way in cutting-edge examples of sustainable design.

Listen in to hear more about how infrastructure can improve agriculture and some of the best ways to enhance climate resistance in state buildings and beyond.
