Sto Corp., the innovative world leader in claddings, air barriers, coatings and restoration systems, announced that the company has once again been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications which attest to their commitment to superior quality management and sustainable environmental practices at all of their US-based facilities including their corporate office in Atlanta, GA, and manufacturing plants in Atlanta, Glendale, Arizona and Rutland, Vermont.

“Customer satisfaction and environmental safety are integrated into every business decision we make at Sto,” said Teal Rooks, ISO Environmental Health & Safety Manager for Sto Corp. “These awards provide a benchmark as to how we’re performing.” The International Organization for Standardization sets the bar for proprietary industrial and commercial performance standards and awards certification to organizations that can meet the standards. The ISO 9001:2015 requirements for a Quality Management System confirm Sto’s ability to consistently provide products that meet customer requirements and deliver customer satisfaction while fulfilling its legal and regulatory obligations. The ISO 14001:2015 certification, meanwhile, confirms that Sto has an established Environmental Management System and meets the ISO standards for minimizing the environmental impacts of its company operations and practices.

Sto has continuously held the ISO 9001 certification since December 1998 and the ISO 14001 since April 2009 but, according to Rooks, the renewal is still a cause for celebration. “We’re very proud to once again receive both ISO certifications. We work hard to create an on-time, quality product while enhancing our company’s environmental performance,” she explained. “These awards are confirmation that we’re doing just that.” The renewed certifications will extend until 2024.
