Virtual Design and Construction

6-9-17 Assemble
June 9, 2017

Assemble Systems has released the next major enhancement to its award winning software, Assemble Insight. With this new capability, AEC professionals can access 2D drawings within Assemble alongside 3D models.  These 2D SmartSheets represent a major increase in capability for the AEC industry.  The model, drawings, and associated metadata are all linked together to assist the user in quickly comprehending the design and associated constructability issues.

Assemble Systems is known for its innovative approach to improving preconstruction and construction workflows through use of models and associated metadata.  The company has earned numerous industry awards for being an industry leader in driving technology adoption in the construction industry.

Assemble has become the platform of choice for construction companies to publish, condition, and share model data with all the personnel and subcontractors on their projects.  Assemble licensing allows the customer to invite an unlimited number of users and to store an unlimited numbers of models, drawings, project data, and point cloud scans for a single project fee of $5,000.

“We have worked hard with our customers to continually improve our solution and address their stated needs,” said Mark Klusza, Chief Innovation Officer for Assemble.  “In this release we are confident that we have exceeded customer expectations and look forward to working with our user community to continually improve the capabilities of the system.”

Assemble is a System of Engagement which is best defined as a system people want to use, not that they have to use.  For too long construction customers have been locked into systems that were inflexible and required a large amount of upfront capital, system administration, and IT support.  “Our Software as a Service (SaaS) offering saves customers money because they only need one project license for everyone: there is no hardware to purchase and no software to install and manage,” says Donald Henrich, CEO of Assemble Systems.  “With our easy to use connections to Systems of Record such as Excel, iSqFt, Procore, Sage, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Autocad, and Intergraph CADWorx, we bring a flexible, easy to use connection to many construction workflows.”

If you would like to learn more about Assemble Systems, visit www.assemblesystems.com or request a demo of the 2D SmartSheets support.
