Schöck celebrated the completion of the production floor of its North American facility at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 15. Mike Bucher, CEO of Schöck AG, joined the Schöck North America team to mark the event.
“Schöck is committed to expanding its North American business, working locally to better serve our customers through domestic assembly, continuity of supply, and flexibility in meeting project needs,” said Bucher. “As the first Schöck production facility outside of Europe, the opening of this location represents an exciting milestone – of course, for North America, but also for all of us around the world.”
The new facility, which is expected to be fully operational by the end of April, is strategically positioned to streamline the supply of Schöck building products to Canadian and US customers. It will house engineering, customer support, marketing, assembly and distribution under one roof, allowing Schöck to maximize efficiencies and bring greater agility and responsiveness to its North American projects.
The new production facility is located at 2 Advantage Court in Bordentown, New Jersey.
Schöck is a leading manufacturer of load-bearing structural thermal breaks and reinforcement technology products designed to increase energy efficiency in new and existing construction, and offers ICC, Passive House and UL certified products.
