EYP Architecture & Engineering announced that Nate Meade, AIA, has joined the firm’s Dallas office as senior designer. In this role, Meade is responsible for leading the architectural design process, integrating multi-disciplinary project teams, and serving as champion of design excellence within the Dallas office.

Utilizing his industry knowledge and prior experience, Meade hopes to promote a thriving design culture to attract top design professionals from the surrounding area. He also plans to leverage the firm’s in-house medical planning and healthcare expertise to support the growth of higher education projects in the region.

“Nate is a skilled designer with years of experience under his belt, and I could not be more excited to have him join our team at EYP,” said EYP Studio Design Principal, John Smith, AIA, LEED AP. “His industry knowledge paired with a passionate and curious nature are the perfect combination for supporting EYP’s mission of people, purpose, and planet.”

Prior to joining EYP, Meade was responsible for elevating design quality within the practice and building reputation for a new regional office location as a senior design architect with GMB. Prior to this, he worked for SmithGroup where he was responsible for programming through construction administration for corporate and higher education projects. These opportunities allowed him to gain experience coordinating across all engineering disciplines and consultants to ensure the client’s vision was carried throughout the design process.

“Joining EYP is most exciting because of the opportunity to work with nationally recognized design and planning experts,” said Meade. “I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues to create memorable environments for clients and community members in the Dallas – Fort Worth region.”

Meade received his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
