Partner Takashi Yanai has been elevated to the American Institute of Architects’ College of Fellows. AIA Fellowship celebrates Architect Members who have made significant contributions to the profession and society, who exemplify architectural excellence, and whose work has had a profound influence or ripple effect.

Approximately three percent of the AIA’s more than 90,000 members have this distinction.
 
Takashi received his Fellowship in the Design category, and was recognized for “elevating the culture of people and place with houses that thoughtfully connect man with nature through masterful siting and exceptional craft.”

He will be invested in a ceremony at the AIA National Convention in Orlando this April. Congratulations Takashi and all of the 2017 AIA|LA Fellows.
