Next week, Marlyn Zucosky, IIDA, Assoc. AIA, partner and director of interior design for JZA+D, will for the third year in a row share her broad experience as a commercial contract designer by serving on the Best of NeoCon Awards jury.
Leading Princeton-based JZA+D’s interiors practice, Zucosky works with staff designers to expand its deliverables and presence to suit evolving client needs. Her significant experience has made her an invaluable complement to the process of determining the winners of the prestigious annual awards program at NeoCon, which takes place June 13-15 in Chicago.
Along with JZA+D partner and founding principal Joshua Zinder, AIA, Zucosky presented at last year's NeoCon as well, on the topic of repositioning older properties to compete in the commercial marketplace.
She has also been making the rounds locally, garnering accolades for her work as an entrepreneur and participating in nonprofit arts-related events.
Recently named a finalist for New Jersey Monthly magazine's special section on "Leading Women Entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs of New Jersey," Zucosky attended a networking event for finalists sponsored by the publishers. According to a press release from the magazine, "The 2016 finalists are women who support numerous non-profits, are employing thousands, generating billions and represent a variety of industries. The impact they have for our state and local communities is amazing."
On May 18, Zucosky also had the honor of introducing architect Shirley Blumberg, founding partner of KPMB Architecture, as the 2016 Goldberg Lecturer for the Arts Council of Princeton.
