Foam-Control MAX graphite polystyrene (GPS) is comprised of many small pockets of air within a polymer matrix containing graphite.  The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material’s resistance to heat flow. Foam-Control MAX achieves an R5 (R-value) at 1-1/16 inches making it nearly identical to XPS materials at 1” thickness while offering a material savings cost of up to 30 percent over XPS.

High-Performance Building Envelope Vertical Applications:

  • Cavity Walls
  • Wall Sheathing
  • Crawl Space Insulation
  • Precast Concrete Cores
  • EIFS
  • Stucco Systems

Foam-Control MAX GPS is a next generation insulation product line with a maximum R-value powered by graphite that delivers the highest R-value per dollar of any rigid foam insulation.
