LO/MIT Interior Radiation Control Coating Systems (IRCCS) are paints formulated to reduce building interior temperatures. They can be used in a wide variety of structures, from office buildings and warehouses, to factories, ice rinks and other arenas, pole barns, garages, storage buildings, tents and more. LO/MIT is a silver-colored, non-thickness dependent, low emissivity radiant barrier paint, which may be used in almost any application where infrared (heat) reflectivity or diffuse light reflectivity is required.

Lower utility costs, increase comfort and lighting levels, improve output and lessen heat related health costs for livestock and poultry in agricultural applications by applying LO/MIT to the roof deck, rafters and un-insulated sidewalls. Because of their low thermal emissivity and high reflectivity characteristics, LO/MIT can reduce unwanted summer radiant heat gain in buildings and structures.

Easily applied with standard airless paint sprayers, LO/MIT is the most economical way to retrofit a radiant heat barrier to an existing structure since it may be safely and quickly applied in enclosed areas at low cost and can easily replace foil or metalized plastic film radiant barriers.

The LO/MIT coatings are classified by ASTM as Interior Radiation Control Coating Systems and offer the following unique features:
