Simpson Strong-Tie announced that its Senior National Account Manager — Builders, Tina Haro, has been named to the Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply class of 2023 for Rising Stars.

The Simpson Strong-Tie branch in McKinney, Texas, is supporting the community of Uvalde with a donation of $10,000 to the victims’ relief fund managed by Communities Foundation of Texas.

Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, announced the opening of the application window for its student scholarship as part of the company’s Strong-Tie Undergraduate Fellowship. 

The goal of the program is to garner interest in the trades as a viable career path for youth and for individuals who have recently been out of the workforce.

As part of the facility tour, attendees will see the unveiling of the Voortman MSI used to fabricate Yield-Link connections.

To aid the Red Cross and its partners with their around-the-clock support, which includes providing community shelters, distribution of basic necessities and cleanup supplies, damage assessment and more, Simpson Strong-Tie has donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
