An expert in crafting the ideal fan experience, Tony Reiner has joined the TowerPinkster team as a Senior Architectural Designer.

Imported from Detroit with over 15 years of design expertise, Reiner has worked on stadiums and arenas across the country, including the Daytona International Speedway, the Boston TD Garden, and the training center for the Los Angeles Lakers.

“I love working in the sports and entertainment industry because it gives me the opportunity to design an experience that will be valuable to the fans,” said Reiner. “In order to do that we have to immerse ourselves in the fan’s pride for their city and for their team, and that is always a truly enjoyable experience.”

After graduating with his Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture, Tony worked at Hamilton Anderson and Rossetti Architecture. There he collaborated on designs for academic, civic, and cultural projects in south-east Michigan. These projects taught him how to foster authenticity in design, a skill that he took with him as he cultivated experience in the sports and entertainment industry.

“Tony’s distinct experience stuck out to us because of the accompanying knowledge that he will be able to share with our design team,” said Jason Novotny, TowerPinkster’s Director of Design. “The breadth of his expertise will add to the diverse experiences we have in-house, and that collaboration will expand our circle of knowledge.”  

In his role as Senior Architectural Designer, Tony will work directly with clients to understand their goals and offer a variety of design solutions. This will include creating sketched and rendered concepts in the early stages of design, so clients have the opportunity to preview and craft the end result.

“To me, design execution is only as good as the relationships formed in the process. Building these relationships and using them to create a shared design vision is the most rewarding part of the industry,” said Reiner.

Outside of the office, Reiner is an amateur barber, who will take any opportunity to practice his skills. He enjoys all types of adventures with his family and coaching his kid's basketball teams.
