Gregory L. Erny, FAIA, NCARB, was inaugurated as the 98th president of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) at its Annual Business Meeting. As president, the Reno, NV, architect will lead the organization that supports the 54 U.S. architectural licensing boards, which serve more than 111,000 licensure candidates and architects.
“NCARB plays an increasingly vital role in advocating for architectural regulation, both for our Member Boards and the public,” Erny said. “We will continue to improve our programs for individuals at every stage of their architecture career while ensuring the public remains protected.”
