Vetrotech Announces 2016 AIA Participation

Keralite
May 2, 2016

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America, a leading manufacturer of fire-rated glass and fire-resistant door, frame, window, and curtain wall systems, announced today its participation in The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention 2016, Philadelphia. Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America has an abundance of products and knowledge to share with those in attendance at AIA 2016, the Parklet Design Competition, and during a tour of the company’s Philadelphia headquarters.

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America’s participation at AIA 2016 will include the following activities:

Visit the Exhibition: Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America will be exhibiting examples of all its fire-rated glazing products at booth 2119. Keralite extended-size fire-rated ceramic glass products will be highlighted as the newest release from the company; the extended-size sheets are the largest available on the market. The Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America exhibit booth will showcase a wide range of fire-protection products, various glazing innovations, curtain wall systems, and other products.

Speak with a Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America Representative: Several company representatives will be on hand to speak with attendees at the event. Keralite product manager / regional sales manager Lindsay Hampton will be available to answer all Keralite product-specific questions. Also in attendance will be Scott Fox, LEED, GA / Southeast regional sales manager; Lori Jerome, marketing project manager, North America; Kevin Norcross, general manager; Art Byrd, estimating manager; Katie Rampke, regional sales manager; and Patricia Hernandez, regional sales manager.

Take Part in the SageGlass Learning Lounge: Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America will offer credit-earning professional education sessions as part of the company’s sponsored “SageGlass Learning Lounge.” On May 19, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America’s Scott Fox will present “Sustainable Solutions with Architectural Fire-rated Glazing” at booth 2011LL. On May 20, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. EDT, Fox will present “Architectural Glazing with Fire-rated Glass: An Application Guide” at booth 2011LL. Note: While these sessions are sold-out, information can be made available in Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America’s expo booth 2119 during the convention’s Expo Chats.

Tour the LEED-certified Saint-Gobain / CertainTeed Headquarters: Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America will conduct a tour of its local headquarters May 18, 2016, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. EDT. Attendees will get a close look at the integrated design process of fire-rated glazing products; learn about product selection and inspiration for occupant acoustic, thermal, and visual comfort; and discuss open office and ongoing occupant change management initiatives.

See Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America During the Parklet Design Competition: Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America will also be participating in the Parklet Design Competition this year. Saint-Gobain is sponsoring the competition this year and will be hosting a parklet. A fire-testing video is being incorporated into one of the displays. All the Saint-Gobain companies will be present to volunteer at the parklet. Vetrotech North America regional sales managers Katie Rampke and Patricia Hernandez, and North America marketing project manager Lori Jerome will be working at the parklet on behalf of Saint-Gobain and Vetrotech North America. Visitors to the pop-up design competition during the AIA National Convention will be able to learn more about Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America in the parklet installation area on the south side of Arch Street, May 19-20, 2016.

Participate in Expo Chats: AIA attendees will have the opportunity to earn industry credits during the event’s popular Expo Chats. Attendees may earn LUs for speaking with 800+ exhibitors across the expo floor. How it works: Speak to the exhibitor, get their verification codes before you leave their booths, and then complete a short learning statement form after the convention. Four 15-minute chats add up to 1 LU. Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America will host Expo Chats in booth 2119 throughout the duration of the expo, which is scheduled to take place May 19-21, 2016.
