Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Hawaii Wins Top Job of the Year Awards
HONOLULU, Hawaii — Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Hawaii (CRW) received Top Job of the Year for all its roofing projects completed in 2013 at the annual Roofing Contractors Association of Hawaii (RCAH) Awards Banquet on Jan. 25 at the Halekoa Hotel on Waikiki Beach. CRW’s first place award recognitions were for commercial projects including two downtown Honolulu iconic towers— Alii Place (fluid applied) and Harbor Court (single ply). Two other winning roof projects included Hawaiian Electric Company’s Kahe Power Plant (metal roof), and the townhome association AOAO Palm Villa II (shingle roof) with 42 buildings re-roofed with solar reflective shingles.
These nominations were judged on the basis of safety, project deadlines or unique considerations such as design factors, jobsite conditions, a culturally sensitive job, or a LEED/Green or PV job.
